I wanted to create a stand that was as unobtrusive and as invisible as possible and at the same time,
was safe for the doll.

We've all seen the plastic "between the legs" stands that come with some dolls.  I've  had some problems with dolls falling off  these stands but I was really worried about the plastics reacting with each other and melting.
(You know, like that doll that has had a wig on for the last 45 years!)

I chose STAINLESS STEEL for the part of the stand that actually touches the doll, and clear acrylic for the base.

I designed it so that it could be taken apart and slid down into the tightest dresses and EVEN PANTS!

MAD doll stands are
***ADJUSTABLE***
and can be used with many dolls!

I got so tired
of seeing my
favorite fashions
crushed by
waist grabbers
If you put the stand under the outfit you end up with
strange bulges.

Half the fun of doll collecting is displaying the dolls in different outfits, but every
time I dressed a doll, I had to figure out where I was going to try to hide the stand!
